My Dolls:
I have been reborning and sculpting realistic baby dolls since August of 2004. I use top-quality artist products to create exceptional works of art and the most realistic baby dolls possible. Most of my "reborns" start out as unpainted vinyl or silicone-vinyl kits. I spend many countless hours creating a base skin-tone, applying layers of mottling, texture, and veins to create the look of real baby skin. I also paint thin wispy eyebrows and finger/toenail tips. I use an extremely small rooting needle to root hair into the head. Only 1-2 hairs are inserted at a time. Rooting is a very time-consuming process. And last, I fill the limbs and new cloth body with weighting materials and put the baby together. Once completed, my dolls look and feel like real newborn babies!

Crochet:
I have been crocheting afghans since 1996 and found my newest passion in crocheting hats in March 2010. My hats are made with extra-soft acrylic or cotton yarn. They are available in several colors and most can be made for any age, preemie through adult.
